Flunking my Paper

Nov 16th, 2005 | By | Category: Featured

I’m going to flunk my Electronics Paper with an F.
I can’t do it.
I don’t know why I couldn’t even get a single question right in all my attempts on the past year papers and tutorials….argh
Thankfully, there are no modules that need it as a prerequisite for next sem. That gives me one chance to retake [...]

Sometimes when things don’t look too great

12 hours before my dreaded electronics paper starts….Taking a short break before i ‘chiong’ again…
I read a friend’s blog of mine and she’s having some pre-flight jitters. And that makes me think…We all get that don’t we? That weird, nauseous emotional and physical feeling just before we plunge into something new. It’s a fear mechanism [...]

I’m a champion of Life

Nov 15th, 2005 | By | Category: Featured

I’m thinking of starting a movement called
L-I-F-E.
It doesnt really stand for anything. But what’s going to happen is this…i’ll have little things like having 200 people picnics at parks or beaches or anything. Maybe even a movie outing. But since i cant do all this alone, I’m going to lease it to people. Anyone who [...]

The dark lords have arrived. The knights were unprepared. The swords have been drawn. And blood has been spilt. But it is not over. For on the second rising on the sun, it is said that the bloodiest battle will take place. We must prepare ourselves for we cannot run.
Math today was so below my [...]

Today’s studying was kinda good. Realised I only have 2 full papers left to clear from the maths set of stuff…should be done by the evening…but still…i don feel prepared. Will I ever feel ready? I hope so. I just hate going into an exam with that “I hope some of the topics don come [...]

A pillar of pain

Nov 12th, 2005 | By | Category: Featured

What does a person do when no one really listens? Try to be heard perhaps.
What does a person do when everything he says is taken to be an attack? Stop talking.
Love is very interesting thing. Too much of it seems to destroy a person and the people around them.
*stops to think*
I realise that increasingly i’m [...]

The face of an NS Man

Donning the uniform again brings back a lot of memories. Not so much the gripes that I have with the service but rather that sense of duty and belonging that it used to invoke. I guess when you once served in the most active company in a very active batallion, you tend to share this [...]

Midnight Ramblings

Nov 11th, 2005 | By | Category: Featured

This is another bout of useless 3am rants. Skip it unless you’re just as bored. Or stressed.
===================
I spent most of the day preoccupied with the thought that perhaps I should graduate with a Computer Engineering Degree(if I can even pass this semester) and then write in to MinDef to seek the possiblity of returning to [...]
