Going to school, I'm usually asleep but returning, I loved the back seat, also beside the window. Like Uzyn I did a lot of thinking, maybe that's how I became philosophical.<br><br>There were times I deliberately took the bus from end to end just to spend a nice quiet journey in my own world. It only cost 45 cents.<br><br>I rarely take the bus alone anymore. Now I do the same thing on long mountain bike rides. The cars just whiz by. You don't notice the people inside at all, so it's a feeling very close to being alone. The wind also makes the mind clear.
