Changes

I suppose the last time I said anything decent was in June. So much has happened since then.

First of all, I’ve moved. To everyone who’s always complained that I lived too far(in Jurong), now I’m in Bishan so you’ve got no more reason to whine when I have my potlucks…unless of course you live in the west. ;p Oh, Bishan is awesome. Everything is close by and with the circle line and all, it’s the new central.

Next, yes, i’m on leave from school again. People have been telling me to just get it done and over with. Truth is, I think school can wait. No point rushing it(and right now, there’s really no penalty for me delaying it). In fact, I honestly think going back to school after you’ve explored the world(and perhaps know yourself a bit better too) is a better way of doing things. Seriously, there are just so many people on campus who have no idea why they’re there.

I think i’m getting old though. I’m slowly realising the virtues of having sufficient sleep. Ok, I’m not actually realising it…my body is just forcing me. I can barely do those 3-4 hour nights anymore with the body opting for like 5 or 6 if I want to be able to function normally the next day. Haiz. Old already.

The past couple of months have been quite the rollercoaster ride with lots of changes. Amongst one of the more exciting things is how I’m now working closely with overseas engineering partners to provide more low-level solutions. I’ve been in wed development for so long that not only is it refreshing but it’s also a great chance to learn a new way of approaching things.

To my friends who are also facing problems in their lives, hang on.

Change is good, change is scary but without change we will always stay put where we are as the rest of the world moves forward. :)
