Hari Raya 2009

First up I just wanted to wish all my Muslim friends Selamat Hari Raya!
This year was not much different from other years in the sense that we pretty much visited the same people. What’s nice, I suppose, is seeing how my cousins and nephews & nieces(yes, we’ve got them young ones now) grow up. I really enjoy having the entire family come together and spend time with my cousins just joking and cracking lame jokes. I mean, how often do we get a chance to do that right?
What’s sad this year though is that I spent the 2nd day shuttling between my bed and the loo because I came down with diarrhea. I had a funny conversation with Nadia earlier when she advised me to stay away from “milk, chilli and curry” of which all three I had multiple times yesterday – together. Haha
Anyhow, it seems like it’s subsided now and I should really be heading to bed.
