It’s been quite a rough couple of months with the setting up of some new projects and restructuring work. That said, it’s also been a somewhat good couple of months with new lessons being learnt and a steady stream of new projects coming in(which means more revenue coming in).
I want to give back somehow. Everytime things are going well, I feel like i have to give back to the world somehow. I feel like the world somehow gives me a shot and that i should repay it much like how you buy a friend a drink for helping you out.
I’ve tried giving to Kiva(and i’ll keep doing that bit by bit) but I’ve been trying to think for the past couple of months how to go beyond Kiva and actually do something more engaging. Granted, I’d very much like to be able to fund education for a small village or something but I’m not that well off yet.
So what can a small business do? What can small businesses do together to make a sustainable difference in society?
If there’s anyone who’s keen on bouncing off ideas, gimme a ring or drop me a note and let’s catch up for a drink. I hope to get the plans done up(regardless of the scale) by end November.
Cheers.
