( I had meant to share this earlier but got delayed )
Now I find this app worth mentioning because it’s not just one of those apps where they show you your username, a whole bunch of friends and what books you borrow. It’s actually a functional application. It’s something that you can actually use to do things like bookmark your favourite books, browse the latest arrivals and my favourite – renew books! Want to recommend a book to a friend? You can do that without ever leaving facebook.
I think the NLB is making a great step forward with this by evolving the way they function to suit the way their customers go about their daily lives. With facebook increasingly becoming where people(or at least the young) spend their online time, NLB’s functional presence here makes their services so much more accessible.
And if you’re like me who’s contributed more than $100 worth of fines, NO MORE EXCUSES NOT TO RENEW!
