We know that many of our readers are technology enthusiasts like us and some of you are likely to own a Macbook Air. If you bought your Macbook Air in 2012 and 2013, there is a chance that you may encounter significant data loss on the storage devices.
Apple has determined that certain 64GB and 128GB flash storage drives used in the previous generation of MacBook Air systems may fail. These systems were sold between June 2012 through June 2013. Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) will replace affected flash storage drives, free of charge.
Please follow the instructions on this page to participate in the replacement program to protect your data.
