We are huge fans of Thinkpads here at Ridz.sg and we could probably not have survived if not for our earlier T430 and X200t models from the Thinkpad line of products. We understand that the new Haswell-powered X1 Carbon will be available in Singapore from 27 February 2014 at authorised retailers in Singapore.
The initial model which will be available in Singapore will not include touch, nor will it have a 3G/LTE module, starting from $2499 with the following configuration. We understand that the touch and 3G/LTE models will be available later this year. Notably, this version is a machine at the higher end of the specifications, running at 8GB RAM and 256 SATA3 SSD. I also like the fact that Windows 7 is a preinstalled downgrade rights option, one I would take if I bought this machine.

The new Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon will be available in Singapore from 27 February through all Lenovo retailers and business partners. Now the question, will I end up buying this new X1 Carbon?
